Predik Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Predik (“we” or “us”) is a prediction market platform. This version of Predik runs on the Monad blockchain: you trade with USDC from your own wallet, and your trades are executed by two smart contracts with publicly verified source code: MarketFactory, which runs the markets and their trades, and PredikVault, the contract that holds the markets’ USDC. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data Predik processes when you use the Predik website and app (the “Service”), why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and which rights you have.
Predik currently operates as a project in development, without an incorporated legal entity. Even so, this Policy follows international good practice for handling personal data responsibly and securely.
1. Data controller
The Predik team is responsible for the processing of the personal data this Policy describes. For any question about your data you can write to us at support@predik.io.
Your transactions on Monad are public and permanently recorded on the blockchain, linked to your wallet address. Predik does not control those records and cannot change or delete them.
2. Data we collect
Predik processes the following data:
- Wallet address: we get it when you connect your wallet or sign in through Dynamic, our authentication provider. It identifies your account, your positions and your history.
- Sign-in data: if you sign in with your email or a social account instead of an external wallet, Dynamic processes that data to authenticate you and manage the embedded wallet it creates for you. The current app does not copy your sign-in email into your Predik profile.
- Public profile (optional): the username, bio, profile picture and X and Telegram handles you choose to add. Anyone visiting the Service can see them. A picture you upload is published at a public address of our hosting provider.
- Community activity: your comments on markets, published next to your wallet address, username and profile picture; your votes on comments; the reports you send about a comment, with the reason and details you write; the markets you save; and the notifications you receive in the app, for example when someone replies to one of your comments.
- On-chain activity: your commitments, buys, sells, claims and refunds on Monad are public. Predik reads them from the blockchain and stores them linked to your wallet address to show your positions, your history, the rankings and each market’s activity.
- Evidence that you accepted the Terms of Service: when you connect your wallet you are asked to accept the Terms and to declare that you are at least 18. We record the date and time of acceptance, the version of the Terms accepted, the IP address and browser (user agent) it was accepted from, and your declaration that you are of age, so that we can prove that acceptance.
- Analytics data: browsing and feature-usage data, collected with PostHog and Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner. When you connect your wallet, PostHog links that data to your wallet address. The early-access request page (/beta) counts your visits with PostHog without cookies or persistent identifiers.
- Technical data: when you use the Service, your browser sends your IP address and details of your browser and device, which our providers process to provide the Service and limit abuse. We use the country you connect from, derived from your IP address, to apply the geographic restrictions in the Terms, without storing it. We log the Service’s technical errors, which may include your wallet address.
3. How we use your data
We use this data to:
- Authenticate you and keep you signed in.
- Show your positions, your history and your participation in markets, and each market’s activity.
- Show your public profile, your comments and the rankings, and notify you in the app of replies to your comments.
- Record your acceptance of the Terms and be able to prove it, and apply the geographic restrictions they set.
- Understand how the Service is used and improve it, with analytics data, only if you consent.
- Detect and fix errors, limit abuse of the Service and meet any applicable legal obligations.
4. Cookies and local storage
The Service stores cookies and local-storage data in your browser:
- Necessary: they keep your session and your wallet connected, remember your language, your theme and other interface preferences (for example, whether you closed the tutorial) and store your choice in the cookie banner. Without them the Service does not work properly.
- Analytics: those of PostHog and Google Analytics, which are only created if you accept analytics cookies.
You can change your choice at any time in the Service’s cookie preferences. If you withdraw your consent, analytics stop loading; you can delete any cookies already created, and the local storage, in your browser settings. Deleting the necessary ones may sign you out.
5. Who we share data with
Predik does not sell personal data. It shares it only with the providers it needs to provide the Service, and in the following cases:
- Dynamic: authentication, wallet connection and embedded wallets (sign-in with email or a social account). It receives your wallet address and your sign-in data.
- Monad network access providers: the RPC nodes the app uses to read the blockchain and send your transactions, and ZeroDev, which sends the transactions of embedded wallets to the network. They receive your IP address, your wallet address and the transactions you sign.
- Infrastructure: Vercel (hosting of the Service, technical logs and the profile pictures you upload), Neon (database), Upstash (request rate limiting, keyed by your IP address or your wallet address) and Sentry (technical error logging).
- PostHog and Google Analytics: analytics, only with your consent (section 4).
- Services your browser contacts directly: jsDelivr, from which it downloads part of the site’s code; Fontshare, which serves the site’s fonts; MetaMask’s connection service, which the wallet connector opens when the page loads; and DiceBear, which generates the default picture of commenters without a profile picture and, to do so, receives that person’s wallet address. When someone uses a profile picture hosted at an external address, your browser may also contact that image’s host directly. These services receive your IP address and browser request information; externally hosted profile pictures are not necessarily proxied by Predik.
- The Monad blockchain: your transactions are public by the nature of the blockchain, and anyone can look them up.
- Authorities: when strictly necessary to comply with the law.
6. Data retention
- Evidence of acceptance of the Terms: after 12 months from acceptance, the IP address and browser are deleted (nulled in our database) at the next scheduled daily cleanup. The date, the version accepted and the age declaration are kept while your account exists, because they are the record of the acceptance itself. This cleanup does not erase records on Monad or the technical logs that providers retain under their own policies.
- Account, profile and community: while your account exists, or until you ask us to delete them (section 8). You can delete your comments and saved markets yourself.
- On-chain activity: records on Monad are permanent. The copy Predik keeps to show positions, history and rankings is kept while the Service operates.
- Analytics, errors and technical logs: kept by PostHog, Google Analytics, Sentry and Vercel according to each service’s retention.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), managed databases and restricted team access. Predik has no access to your wallet’s keys. No measure is infallible, and you should bear in mind that your transactions on the blockchain are public.
8. Your rights
Although Predik currently operates without a formal legal entity, we respect your right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and correct your profile, which you can also edit yourself in the app.
- Request the deletion of your account and the associated personal data, where applicable.
- Withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time.
- Receive information about how we process your data.
To exercise these rights, write to us at support@predik.io with your account’s wallet address. The app does not yet let you delete your account directly; we will handle your request manually.
Data recorded on the Monad blockchain is immutable: neither Predik nor any third party can delete it.
9. Minors
The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we find that a minor has given us personal data, we will delete it.
10. Changes to this Policy
Predik may change this Privacy Policy at any time and will publish the changes on this page, with their update date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the changed Policy.
11. Third-party policies
The third-party services Predik integrates apply their own terms and privacy policies; among them:
- Monad: the blockchain on which the MarketFactory and PredikVault contracts run and your transactions are recorded.
- Dynamic: authentication and wallets.
- PostHog: analytics, only with your consent.
We recommend reading their privacy policies.
12. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, you can write to us at support@predik.io.
Note: this Privacy Policy belongs to a project in development without an incorporated legal entity, and it will be adapted as Predik moves toward its legal incorporation or as its data models and operations change.
